We want to explain the Terms and Conditions you are agreeing to when using our products and services. The sole purpose of our STEAM Learning kits and services is to support educators, parents and kids to create engaging coding and building projects at home and in school! Therefore, we ask you not to use our product and services to be disrespectful to others.

Strawbees and Quirkbot have been trademarked by Strawbees AB in many countries. All rights reserved. Designs, such as (but not limited to) Strawbees connectors, Quirkbot and its expansion have been registered by Strawbees AB.

Strawbees Learning

At https://learning.strawbees.com we provide for educators, parents and anyone who is interested in lesson plans, activities and other inspiration. This work is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 4.0 International License.

Strawbees CODE

At https://code.strawbees.com we provide a coding platform to program the Quirkbot. The platform is of our own development and it supports the use of open source code such as Arduino and Scratch Blocks. We provide more details in our FAQ.

Warranty

Our limited warranty covers manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship of our products.

This limited warranty starts on the date the product is purchased and lasts for 1 year (the “Warranty Period”). The Warranty Period is not extended if the product is repaired or replaced.

This limited warranty only applies to authorized sellers (check our website for more information). Amazon is an authorized seller, but only if shipped by Amazon directly. Please, keep your proof of purchase as it will be required for warranty coverage. For more information regarding warranty or to obtain warranty service please contact support@strawbees.com

Not covered by warranty:

There are [normal] limitations to what is covered by warranty; which does not cover any damage caused by: (1) transportation or storage of the product; (2) improper use of the product; (3) use with electrical components different from those sold by Strawbees; (4) modifications to the product; (5) unauthorized repairs; (6) normal wear and tear of the components; (7) external causes such as accidents, abuse, unusual physical or electrical stress, or others.

Our connectors and straws are made of PP, a reusable and recyclable plastic. During the use, it can get worn off and those components can be cut and modified and even considered as disposable. Therefore, they are subject to deterioration during the normal operation of the product. The former also applies to others such as batteries, stickers, or templates.

Purchasing and shipping

Purchases can be conducted directly from our website. All prices are displayed in $USD marked excluding VAT. VAT will be added at checkout. If you are an European company you can add your EU VAT number for the VAT to be deducted at check out (excluding Sweden). Please send an email to sales@strawbees.com if you require any help.

We either ship from Sweden, Hong Kong or the US, dependent on what country and quantity. Goods usually get shipped within a week after the order got placed, and delivery will take about upon shipment. The shipping cost will be calculated per country and size of order during the checkout process and orders over $1000 USD are eligible for free shipping.

Due to stock shortage or other reasons out of our control, there might incur a delivery delay. If you have any questions regarding your order status please email us on order@strawbees.com.

Guaranteed Satisfaction

If you are for any reason unsatisfied with the performance of your Strawbees products, we offer you a full refund within 14 days (2 weeks).

Dealers will receive a replacement product for products returned. The customer has to pay for the return of the product in order to get a new replacement sent.

Support

We offer lifetime support. Email us on support@strawbees.com for technical and educational support for any of our products and services.

Payments

We accept payment by Visa, MasterCard and American Express via Stripe. We also accept PayPal, PayPal Credit and Discover Network. We also take Purchase Orders (PO). Your payment information gets safeguarded and handled by trustworthy third-party platforms such as Stripe, PayPa, Apple or Google Pay.
